Just wondering who out there is going to the blessing of the jeeps in mesick... Would anyone from around the Lansing area that's been to it previously like to meet up? I've never been there looks like a lot of fun last year the count was over 900 Jeeps
I made my reservation today for 2012 blessing. I'm going to make a album of the event, start shooting Friday in Mesik then all day Saturday at the blessing. this should be a lot of fun with great pics. The pics in the album are going to be numbered so if you see yourself in the album you can email me (I'll make that available after completion and editing) then I can email your choices for I won't be able to get every name and shot.
We go by there every morning around 5, on our way into work. It's a little easier on the gas going that way instead taking 69 to 127. That way goes a little out of the way and since there's no traffic on Lansing Rd and M-78 and most of the lights are flashing yellow it also shaves at least 10mins off the commute.
I live in perry too I work in Lansing at Tuffy auto service I'm the manager of the one by Frandor next to the 127 on ramp across from flap jacks
You don't happen to know who own the maroon Rubicon across from the after hours clinic? I love it, it looks amazing in that color with all the mods. I will purposely drive by there real slow just to oogle it, it irritates the crap out my wife b/c she doesn't think the color looks good.
How long are the lines to get on some of the courses? I've checked out some of the videos and pics and it looks like there are a ton of jeeps there. Just wondering if if you spend a lot of the day waiting in line?
Depends on how fast you get to the course when they say go. I've always just watched others beat on their Jeeps. Except on the stock baby course. You wouldn't spend the whole day but you could spend up to about an hour depending on how busy it is. It's constantly moving unless someone gets hung up.
