I'm game. I want to take my son he's only three but loves the jeep. I'm sure if my son is going so is my wife she's a little less enthusiastic about the jeep. Either way it'll be fun.

There is a group of us going from my work. Right now it is just 2 of us but I believe there will probably be 4-5 going. Never been there, been to The Mounds a few times and got stuck last time. I just put on some 35's so hopefully won't have as many problems.

I'm am new to the jeep world and new to off roading. I have a brand new unlimited rubicon. Is this a good place to take the family for a beginner. I am not interested in any hardcore off roading. Just something to flex the rubicon a bit. I am car guy so the thought of scratching up my brand new jeep worries me. Can I spend the day out there having fun with out scratching my new toy?

Shouldn't be a problem. There's a lot of open space out there. I might have my three year old so I'm not going to get crazy. Hope to see you there.

I won't be able to make on the 9th. I was just wondering about later this summer. My kids are 5 and 7. They love the new jeep. They were hooked since we did a jeep tour at silver lake. That is when I got the jeep bug.

Yup you got the bug. It's all over now. Lol. I'm always open to go to bundy hill. I live about an hour away so when ever you want to go. I'm sure we can always find a group to go.

There is a rather large contingent, (yeah a bunch of us) coming up from the Fort. Well large for us..... when we get together there might be 20 or 30 for a party or meet and greet, and it sounds as if we will have close to 20 or so rigs and some quads headed your way on the 9th...IDK maybe 15 you know how that goes first they in than they out than their wrenchin to be in......but yeah we headed up there for Bundy on the 9th!!

I'm only about an hour away myself. The wife has the big to. Between silver lake and all the other spots, I'm sure I will brake in the jeep right.

Depending on how late I sleep on the 9th I may be in. I work midnights so I don't get home until 7am. I am about 2 hours away. How is this place compared to the mounds?

I'm gonna try to make it. My son has wrestling districts so depending on how that goes. Since I'm only 20 minutes away I may be able to get there around 11. Gonna try hard

Hope to make it but not sure yet. It all depends on how much I get done on my kitchen project. It would be nice to go have some fun, kitchens suck.

I'm in. Are we all meeting up in the parking lot? I'll probably be there shortly after opening time.

Well things are a little confusing down here...some that were going now aren't...some have decided instead of meeting up to drive straight up..so I will be doing that as well. Question for any who have been there before..do people use a specific channel on the CB up there? Or do you just find a clear one and go for it? Think I will be flipping through them a little till I figure what everyone is using...any suggestions? Looks like we will get there around 9am or so...hope to see you there!!! My Jeep says LIL RED right on it

Some use 16 (4x4) but nothing is firm.

You'll love it. I took my brand new Wrangler there with some other experienced Jeepers who led us around. Lots of sand with some rock trails, which you can bypass if you are uncomfortable.

I work until 7 tomorrow morning and map quest says I'm about 1 hour 45 minutes away. So I guess that means ill be there around 9-10. That is all pending on no jackasses calling off hindering me to stay at work. I have my flag, winch, tow strap. Anything else? I usually monitor cb channel 4 while wheeling.

Oh by the way I'm the silver jk rubicon with a winch on top of the factory bumper and a black fire stick with red tip off the tire carrier.

Bundy can be as easy as as dirt road or straight up rock crawling. It all depends on how mild or wild you wanna get. Some real nice hill climbing too. We just picked up a couple inches of snow to. If you have never been there I recommend getting on their website and printing the liability waiver. This way you can have it filled and not have to do it in line. I'm still hoping to make it after sons wrestling
