Hello everyone. I don't have my Wrangler yet - just started looking. I'm leasing a Grand Cherokee and still have a few months. I've been browsing on Ebay - just window shopping. I don't think I'm going to lease a Wrangler - don't seem to be the incentives. Probably going to purchase a 2005, 2006(or see what's leftover from 2007). If anyone is leasing theirs and will be turning it in, let me know. Thanks

Grand rapids MI here. I am in the process of doing a frame off on my CJ. I have only steered it onto and off of the trailer. Can't wait to do more.

Not legally. I don't know if you are familiar with "The Mounds", in the Flint area, it's a smaller off-road park that most guys in Michigan frequent. I am sure you are familiar with the Sand Dunes on the West side of the state, and there is Drummond Island in the northern part of the Lower Penninsula. I do almost all of my wheeling on private land in Canada.

Well.....
I am a 2 wheel biker..or was till the go down, but all my travels were on pavement unless it was by accident. I have heard of the sand dunes..but are they the ones near theSleeping Bear national park s of Traverse City?
Not familiar with the mounds near flint but I have been to drummond island about 20 some years ago before dominoes built there
Are the off road trails official, marked, fee related? Is there a booklet avaliable showing trails like is avaliable for the trails in colorado and utah?

I think that the Mounds information can be found on the State of Michigan's/DNR website in the recreation/parks section. I believe that the trails are marked and I think that it is an official Off-Road park, and requires an OHV sticker to enter, along with a small fee.

Westland, MI here

Just got my JK 3 weeks ago. I've done some Wheeling up on private snowmobile trails in Waters, MI. I also tend to turn towards any mud pit I see on the side of the road... Sometimes it ends horribly. Only been winched once though (last night)... That was fun.

what up! redford mi. here! i need alot of help mapping my jeep...i finished building my 85' chvy 350 motor, and bought a TCI th350 from jeggs. i will be using ford 8.8 rear end. but i need help figuring out what t-case to use. i want something that will bolt DIRECTLY to the th350-non lockup. a chevy np 205 is too big in my opinion, so there is the chvy np203, but i dont know what year chvy had the drivers side drop w/ four bolt mount instead of the 8 bolt "race track" mount w/ passenger side drop. any help would be greatly appreciated. im converting this winter.

Don't know if this post is still going, but I'll try to bring it back. Rochester Hills 2004 unlimited 1.25 jks body lift, 1 inch engine lift, upgraded gas tank skid, sufari rack, ome stering stabilizer, and oil pan skid. Hopefully this summer it'll be lift time. Me and the wife love to off road and have been to the mounds before and it's pretty good for down here. Have two kids, one which is 11 days old. Kinda funny to see two car seats in the back, but trust me the girls will be jeep girls. Thinking of getting a CB. Lets see some pics of your rigs.

Here are a couple of my junk.

* Click reply and scroll down to bottom of text box.
* Click "go advanced" add text to message window and then scroll down.
* Click "Manage attachments" A separate window will pop up.
* Click "browse" Then select the file to be uploaded. Be sure that the photo is appropriately sized. 600 x 400 pixels (or smaller) and no more than 39 Kb. Forums software will automatically reduce the size, but smaller size photos will upload much faster. You may select several photos to upload at the same time by repeating the last step.
* Click "Upload" After pics have loaded close the pop-up window
* Click "submit reply" to mount the text of your message - photos will automatically appear at the bottom of your post.

How to embed an image stored on another site:
You can do this by using image tags. Upload the image to a service like imageshack and then copy the URL of the image and put that between [IMG] tags. That will work well, as long as the host site stays in business and doesn't disable your image for overuse of bandwidth etc. Please note - we will remove dead links as we find them

To do this: Paste the url of the image into your post. Then add the following code on either side of the url (with no extra spaces):

[IMG]url here[/IMG]

The image will appear where the url was in your text.

Hope that^^^^ helps!
