First Timers

I just bought my first Jeep a few months ago, and Im looking to start planning an early to mid spring ride somewhere. I have been viewing and reading a lot about Taylor park in Colorado -- But wow -- quite a drive, but not totally out of the question. My wife and I also ride ATV's just about everywhere.

Does anyone know of any groups that get together for some local, and out of State get together s.

Like I said, I am a beginner and not looking to concur the world, and would like to learn from others. Thanks in advance for any input.

Where are you at?

Some suggestions:

www.glfwda.org
www.whatliesbeyond.org Flint, MI
www.cheapthrillsoffroad.com Grand Rapids
http://www.facebook.com/DrummondIslandOffRoadClub Drummond Island
msg4x4club Oakland County
Two Trackers 4WD Club » Welcome to Two Trackers 4WD Club Grand Rapids
Trolls 4X4 on Myspace Under the bridge....
http://sofo.glfwda.org/ Metro Detroit
Tri-City Trailriders Midland-bay City-Saginaw
Sundowner's 4x4 Kalamazoo

OK I am not an impartial opinion - these are all clubs associated with the Great Lakes Four Wheel Drive Association (Sundowners aren't officially a member club of GLFWDA, but we work with them enough to think of them as part of the team).

I think you already know my favorite ATV hangout www.atvoffroad.net

Thanks Paul --

I live in Owosso, and I also drop in once and a while at mi-offroad site. I have the same username there. We went to Hatfield/Mcoys with that group a couple years ago, and run into some members here and there. Would do much more group rides, but 90% of them are on weekends, and I work lots of weekends, the scheduling makes it tough.

Thanks for the links, I will check them out.
