A guy I know used the Black Diamond coil-over conversion kit for his YJ, not the Genright kit. It made a dramatic difference in the ride quality on the road, and gave him more flex in the dirt, but it was a bolt-on kit that just had too much hardware to worry about. Not sure I would have wanted to take it rock crawling for fear of trashing the bolts and fasteners. Have you looked at air shocks as an alternative? I spent a weekend wheeling with a group of guys that included 3 set up with air shocks (3 link front 4 link rear) and that works amazingly well.
