I know, probably too soon top start talking about May dates yet, but I am a tax guy and need something to look forward to!
The What Lies Beyond Jeep Club of MI will be taking the Go Topless Day picnic on a road trip again this year - the date seems to coincide with our work weekend up in Atlanta to clear the ORV Routes, fix the signs, and get the routes ready for another season. As a result, our Genesee County-based club will be holding our Go Topless Day get together at Clear Lake State Park on Saturday May 18 around dinner time. You do not need to be a member of WLB, GLFWDA or anything else, just come as you are (as long as it is in a Jeep!). We will be hanging out around the camp fire having burgers and dogs, and talking about Jeeps. More details to come as we get closer to spring, but we usually try to grab the handful of camp sites next to the cabin.
And for those of you heading to Mio for the WF run the same weekend, remember that Atlanta is just a few more topless miles up M33.
Hey Paul... I may be up in that area late afternoon. Got a CB? Channel?
We should be on CH 4, but if there is radio traffic we often use CH 23. If you have a 2m radio, I usually monitor 145.62. Unfortunately CB only has a couple miles of range at best, the route system is 73 miles and covers an area roughly 15x25 miles. If you can't find us we will be set up in the campground around the one cabin they have for rent.
