Just bought my first jeep and I am looking for some fun trails to take around the Grand Rapids area. If anyone can let me know of some awesome places I would appreciate it! I also wanted to know why types of snowboard racks people are using on their jeeps.
Not really Grand Rapids, but out in Hamilton area there's a few seasonal roads I found late one night. Didn't really explore too much but they were kind of cool. Take M40 and where 128th or 127th ave cross it go west. Both roads will end you in the same trail system. Like I said I didn't explore it much but there was a good bit out there. It's the closest thing I've been able to find to GR.
Maybe some weekend we could meet up and go explore out there!
If you don't mind a drive, Baldwin has some great trails, went up there 4th of July and Labor Day weekend. Northern Muskegon Co/southern Oceana County have a lot of trails in the area, about 45 mins to an hour depending on what part of GR you're coming from.
