JEEP Mods for $1000.00

I just want to post the question. What would you do to your Jeep if you had $1000 to work with? I already have a 2 inch lift, 35 inch tires, KC lights, running boards, and a hard top. I am feeling the itch to do something else to the girl. Engine, K&N air filter, oracle halo lights, etc.....

Send a message via Yahoo to Havok
If I had a grand I'd get all new control arms.

Based on what you have, a winch. For me new a new bumper or a lift as I'm all stock.

If you wheel it:
Winch (Harbor Freight $300 on sale)
JKS disconnects ($150)
Quadratec Recovery bag ($100)
Aussie Lunchbox locker ($350 delivered)
Pizza and beer to feed your friends while installing all of it ($100)

If you don't wheel it, I gotta go with a programmer, intake and free flow exhaust, but I think I blew the budget.

I don't really do much wheeling. What does the programmer do?

The programmer modifies the programming of the electronic engine management system - lets you dial your tire size in to correct your speedo and shift points to go with your oversized tires, gives you a bit more power and can also help you squeeze a smidge more mileage out of each gallon of fuel.

Are there different types of programmers? Any recommendations?

I don't know anything about them, just what I have read. Sorry.
