Honestly, all the dealerships I dealt with (and had zero problems with no-stock stuff) are no longer Jeep dealerships following the Chrysler restructuring of a few years back. And now that I'm long out of warranty, I have no cause to go to dealership service departments. That said, I have heard good and bad stories about the same dealerships, so I suspect there is some variability - the staff person making the call, the customer, etc. - based upon factors that aren't necessarily attributable to the dealership per se.
I'd suggest you post your question to greatlakes4x4 to see what those guys think, since they're 90%+ Michigan folks over there.
