Post a pic of what you drive and I'll be sure to wave haha. Most people around here never wave back
Haha I wave to '06 and under jeeps! People with the new body style don't get the concept usually! Plus once they added 2 more doors it became a more "family" oriented vehicle (mind you my TJ is my primary vehicle with a 21 month old! Haha) so it's mostly woman that are driving those ones (no offense to the ladies) but even my wife doesn't understand the wave! Haha
There are a ton of trails up there, North of West Branch & East of St. Helen is a heck of an area we go sometimes. Seems like South East of the AuSable there are a lot of two tracks everywhere, even show up on GPS. But, the trails are limited to 50" or less. But on the other hand, North/West of the AuSable by Mio, St Helen, etc... there are a lot more we can run on for public trails.
Our website is ThumbJeeps.com MI-Thumb Jeepers Group | Wix.com and if you have a facebook page, look me up. My pic is the same as my avatar here, once friends I can add you into the ThumbJeeps facebook crew and you can see pics, events, all sorts of stuff there to. Its "Chris Larabell".
We do parades, trail runs, fall color tours, trips to the ORV parks, some mild some hard, etc... All sorts of fun stuff. Most recently, I'm building an obstical course around my property. Log obsticals, some trail type obsticals, rocks, logs, etc... Mostly for training some of the newer drivers. In particular, my son is 16 and just got his first Jeep. A 97' ZJ (Grand Cherokee) w/a 3" lift and 31's. This weekend will be his first trail run with the group. He's driving directly behind me somewhere in the convoy w/radios and he's checking around w/his friends now to choose a navigator for the weekend.
Oh, and I'm gonna have to catch castaways thursdays sometime. Sounds cool... We're about 45-50 minutes South/East of Bay City. I'll shoot for 7'oclock to help make everyone look good on the time lol.
Thanks Chris I will have to check that out unfortunately this coming weekend I am working 12 hour shifts so there would be no chance for me to make it out but I wish I could! I will check out the Facebook page I have been looking for a club/group that is active so I am definitely interested! :-)
sounds good! We do all sorts of stuff and also pass out word on events for GLFWDA, Offroad Jeepers, Jeeps of MI, etc... a lot of our members cross different clubs so we try to broadcast all the events throughout the area.

I'm anxious to get off work today to finish up some work on my Koi fish leg tat. Pending the new ink is here from Eternal tattoo supply today like its supposed to be lol.
