Thumbjeeps.com trail ride.

Details are on the site( thumbjeeps.com) but here are some details.

Headed to the st Helen are for a trail ride from June 8 through the 10. All are welcome to join. But we need to know who is going to be camping so we can make a decision if we can use beaver trail campground.

Again more details on the site.....plus you can join too

I won't be able to go, but make sure you hit the ORV Route on page 2 of the map http://www.midnr.com/publications/pd..._and_Route.pdf down in the SE corner, running in a loop back and forth across Dunham Lake Rd, especially the N-S leg on the far east side near the county line road. The is a new section of trail (result of a property dispute with a land ownber a couple hundred yards further east) we call the "SoFO Trail" in honor of the club (Soldier of Fortune Offroad) that hacked the new trail through the woods with the blessing of the DNR. It's about as tight and twisty as we can get away with on an ORV Route. There are also a lot of good 2 tracks in St Helen & West Branch, have fun!

The owner's are nice people, the facilities are clean and well kept, but I'm still finding black sand in my camper from my last stay there.

Can't wait! Trying to round up some more locals myself. Here is a direct link to the flyer I put together:

I emailed all members a couple days ago. No takers yet... Except us anyways

you should have my number on an email signature... but if not, PM and I'll send it over to you. If you want to come for a few on Saturday just text and I'll fill you in on where we are. Or, just come out from Fri. night and head back home Sat. Your call, but if you do want to come out just txt us and we'll meet up. Otherwise, no problem... we'll catch up at another event sometime.
