West Michigan Jeepers

Looking for some Jeepers to wheel with, do some trail runs, etc. I know of a few places local, wouldn't mind finding some more!

There used to be a bunch down here, all subdivisions and walmarts now

I think that's the grocery section now.

Some at work told me about some trails going through the Allegan State Game Area. Since I had my Jeep today I thought I scout around and see what's through there. Between 46th and 52nd Street north of 118th Ave is mostly (if not all) public hunting area. I followed 51st street north of 118th Ave to 120th Ave and then east to 48th street. Then it turn into a two track and even though I was still in 2WD, it was pretty rough in places. It's rather narrow too. Not much room to park if someone is coming the other way. I didn't go all the way to 46th street though as I done this right after getting out of work. Suppose to be more two tracks off of 46th street so I was told.

I also got a map but didn't print it out yet. It's on another thread.

The Roadhouse on red arrow hwy in paw paw has a jeep meet up every Thursday afternoon. They have a small trail set out back.

Nice, I may be able to afford that someday. In the meantime the yj is getting completely dismantled and rebuilt so it will basically be new

Does anybody here know a good place to get new gears and a locker installed locally? West Michigan area? Sahara has 3:21 gearing and 315/70-17 tires and is extremely gutless.
