Places to Wheel

Newer to the area and looking around for places to go. mainly interested in entry level rock crawling b/c I just picked my TJ up a few months ago and it isnt lifted yet. I found a few parks around here within a few hours of my location but wanted to try and find some other area.

in the link they talk about some place Mount Pleasant... anyone ever been there and have directions available?

Mount Pleasant is my stomping grounds. Everything from mild to wild up there. A wicked fun trail system with rock gardens, water crossings, hill climbs, mud, and big rocks. Fun for both big and small, and the view from the top is a great sense of accomplishment. Many different avenues to get to the top too.

If you ever want to check it out hit me up! Close by is also Patrick Moutain which is a rock and water crossing trail system that plays on and off of a set of powerlines.

Both of these places are enough to take up their own day of exploration and wheeling.

I did a few write-ups on these two systems that I will post up on here soon.

I did a full trail report here...
http://www.4x4trailtalk.com/forum/tr...81-Mt-Pleasant

Patrick Mountain is also logged over there.

Not able to meet this weekend but be safe if you decide to go up, rocks may be ice/snow capped. And as always... Pack out what you packed in.

Cheers
