98 Wrangler

Just bought a 98 Wrangler. Looks like it's in great condition. Picking it up Friday. Comes with hardtop and softtop. I know it's a 2 man job to get the top off. Any pointers I should know about - either the top or the jeep in general??

This is my first Jeep so I'm excited!

Congrats and welcome. With 2 people it's not bad taking the hard top off. The soft top can be done alone. There is a lot of great info on this forum. If you are unsure of anything just ask. you can also and search YouTube for great videos . Get involved in a Jeep club also.

Bob

You can remove it with one person, if you have enough luck, strength, and/or stupidity... Of which I have plenty. The tough part is putting it down.
