Sorry folks, Dakotabuck posted a link to Dennis beaches...I was wrong about Crow's Pasture it's 100 for residents and 200 for nonresidents. I've gone out before but I never knew it was a permit for use.

Went to sandy neck saturday.Well went and left! Sat in traffic before the bridge for about 4 miles. My bo bo left to late.Arrived on beach at 9:45 .No good only spaces left were going to be under water in about 3hrs. I went to this beach about 20 yrs. ago they use to close it when it was full. Not anymore packem in.4th. weekend crowd unbelieveable! Someone their is going to get run over, people do not move legs etc.from vehicles traveling on and off beach.Vry tight driving in between campers, vehicles and small children.FRIGGEN NUTS!! Well returned yesterday early had a great day.Left early to avoid lines at the air-up area.Today will be absolute mayhem when campers are waiting for air and the other brave fools that went daily today!!

We had a good day at Nauset on Saturday - Cape traffic was OK - weather was awesome. Only bad part was the Greenheads - Those little bastards hurt!

I like to resurrect this thread every spring

Hi Everyone - I know the weather in Boston sucks today, but the beach weather will be here before we know it.

Who's getting beach permits this year and how much did you pay. Post a link to the website, let's try to get a list going.

I'm going with Nauset Beach again this year for $180.

info is here:
Town of Orleans - ORV ( Off Road Vehicles)

Video is here:
Town of Orleans - 2012 ORV Video

See you on the beach - don't forget to wave!

It has sucked at the beach do far! We have a summer home in North Truro and they are closing the beaches due to the stupid birds again. Before you buy a permit make sure to ask about the birds and how many beaches will be closed. They have been selling passes without telling people.

Don't even get me started on those damn birds! Luckily, I made it out on Nauset once before it closed. I almost think a $300 sticker to Duxbury is worth it, because at least I could use it. Maybe next year.

Race point still has a lot of beach open at the moment. But its too far from Boston for day trips.
