Looking Good!

Don't get all tied up with the term "local club". If your going to wheel in New England, your going to have to be willing to travel around no matter what club you join. Many clubs go to the same "local" areas to wheel - MA, NH, CT, RI and most do camping weekend trips to other locations as well. Here are two parent associations that many of the New England clubs belong to:

NEA4wd » Member Clubs
NOVA4x4.Org

Your best bet is to research them, join a few of their forums, and see which club is the best fit for YOU and your rig size/capabilities.

Good luck with the rig.

P.S. for heaven's sake loose those side steps if you plan on doing any decent wheeling and get a set of rocker guards/rails. (Those will only get in the way, and a moderate trail will eventually ruin or remove them for you!)
