jeep wrangler clutch

Hello I started noticing that when I push the cluch in I hear a clicking noise almost like a locking mecanism as I push down it goes click click click should I be worried about this or is it normal I dont have any prob shift stalling nothing

Jeep wrangler sahara jk 3.7 stock?

That's the throw out bearing. Sometimes this can means its wearing out, sometimes it's just a "normal" sound. Mine has been doing it for 5 years and its just fine. I know it'll be getting a Moog TOB next time and not any mopar parts. I'd chalk it up as normal until it starts getting worse

Noticed mine is starting todo the same thing..where is this bearing? I'm working on various other things on the yeep so if I can get rid of that annoying clicky noise that would be awesome!!

It's inside the bell housing. It's not an easy access place. You have to remove the transmission to get at it and at that point you may as well replace it while you have the transmission out. It's not the biggest deal to just leave it tho
