MA Bell Trail/Old Florida Rd

Anyone want to run these trails at some point? They look like tons of fun to test the limits on my YJ

Really don't have a lot if interest in joining a club, I go out all the time (pretty much every weekend) with a NH based forum which doesn't cost me any money. Just looking to go out and wheel with some good people, not go to meetings and focus on more political aspects. Just thought there would be some people on the same boat as me looking to have a nice day of wheeling.

I went to school in North Adams and love it out there. Here is a Google Earth shot of Florida Road. Never been there. As you can see it stops in the middle of the woods. Does it continue on past there? Is it all dirt?

Don't go alone you will need lockers and a winch.

I just got an 08 JKu rubicon and want to put it to the test.. Not much on it other than lifted and 32" mts.. Let me know if any of you want to go out to the trails.. Im new to this but i also heard of freetown state forest being a off road-unpave road allowed by the state.

The Fall River/Freetown State forest is hardly a challenge for a Rubi. Yeah there's unpaved roads you can drive on, but it's hardly "off-road". Any Prius could drive on them. As far as the trails out there, there all designated Hiking, Dirt Bike, ATV, or Bridal - Motor Vehicles (OHV's) are not allowed and there is a fine IF you get caught.

Best advise is join a club. It's a great way to learn, stay safe, and have some real fun with your new toy!

I agree that locations really shouldn't be posted. We don't want a lot of d-bags ruining the little land that we have left. I've rolled with a few clubs in the past (Including Patriot) but my issue is that I work every Saturday of my life so the club deal is kind of a no-go for me. I know that is an issue for a lot of people. I like to set up little fun runs every now and again on Sundays for those of us that work too much :-P

I have the same issue, I work a rotating schedule of 4 days on and 2 days off so my days off rotate every week. The chances of me being off from work when clubs do their runs are slim to none. Everyone always says "just join a club" not that easy with a complicated schedule and because of it off roading spots are slim to none.

And with the way work is lately, more and more people are starting to feel the same thing.. I myself work 6-7 days a week. The ONLY day I get off if I'm lucky is Sunday!
