MA law?

Is it true that I can not ride with the doors off without mirrors? If so how do I move them?

I picked up a set of Harley long stem mirrors. They mount right into the top (or bottom, but why?) hinge bracket that the door mounts on. It's a super easy thing to do.

Yes it is true, by the way.

Warrior Products WAR1500 - Warrior Products Mirror Relocation Brackets in Black for 97-02 Jeep® Wrangler TJ - Quadratec

I have these for my TJ. 2 17mm nuts, and they move. I put bubble mirrors in the bottom outter corner of the mirrors, so you don't have to try as hard to adjust them

I'll have to look when I get home. I keep them in their original boxes, so there should be some info on them.

Yeah I don't care how much we're getting, I refuse to lift my shovel again until December at the earliest. Its warm enough to melt off in two days now anyway.

You do not need to relocate or have side mirrors if your review mirror is attached, and you do not have obstruction out the back window. Below is what I posted on a separate thread, and feel free to lookup the MA 540CMR400 law.

"I was interested in mirror and tire laws, and found this great website for all states. Massachusetts Lift Laws | Vehicle Modification Rules. MA 540CMR400 shows that only a rearview mirror is required in MA, unless there is obstruction of view through the back window, or excessive tinting."

This is great info on the side view Mirror requirements and a great link to the laws.

I have seen many with mirror relocation brackets but I have never seen one with Harley long stem mirrors ...? I don't think so anyway.

The mirror relocation bracket ones look normal, I don't see why they just aren't all like that.

What do the Harley ones look like on ?
Do they look weird ?
Does anyone have a picture (or a link) ?

I would use the relocation brackets to be safe... The tire in your back window can DEFINITELY be classified as an "obstruction of view"
