actually just bought a house in town. Originally from Newton but was living in Auburn mass. Tons of off road just past the Worcester area. Did a little driving around Millis and saw some high tension lines with trails. I know the transfer station I will check it out
The powerlines used to lead to a big sand pit popular with dirtbikers, and abandoned construction garage. It's now a big development off of 115 in Norfolk.
I've found a ton of places in the area I could fit my Jeep into, but there are so many dirtbikers and mountain bikers and equestrians around I'm afraid of getting into an accident where I'm not supposed to be, so I havent ventured anywhere yet. Working on building up my jeep so I can go to Western MA or NH on the weekends and do it legal.
this is the key when wheeling in MA. Every time someone goes out and wheels where they don't belong just because they see tracks and think it's ok they create a little check mark for the state to fight us on.
When in doubt call the local PD and or town road agent
