New Owner

Hey I'm a new owner and I've got a 98 Tj with the 2.5L in it and I was wondering about lifting it and if anyone knew what I could do before I started having to do stuff to the driveshaft and what not. I'm not looking to go really high or anything. If anyone could help that'd be great.

Welcome!
Your best bet it to just go read the TJ section for a day or 100. There is just a painful amount of info to take in regarding lifts.
It's not rocket science but everyone tends to have their own beliefs and you need to educate yourself a bit and try to make a knowledgeable decision for yourself.
First you will want to know your gear ratio in case you are going to want larger tires once lifted.
It can become an avalanche of upgrades you can get yourself into without a plan of some sorts.
Anyways.....go read for a while and enjoy!
