We usually come out of the woods b4 dark. I tell people to bring lunch and snacks because there's nothing but nature out there.during the day we pop on and off the main roads.some people like to cut their day short and thats cool too

Night run...? I just read some forums and a lot of pages about the forest. Supposedly it's one of the most haunted areas around with some crazyy shit that happens in there. Seemed normal to
Me. You guys ever experience anythin on those night runs?
Location: PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF MASSACHUSETTS, Somerset
Seriously dude! Haunted!!! LOL
There's been some crazy sh*t that's gone on up there over the years; couple murders, a cult, but there aren't any spirits up there haunting anyone. Anything odd that's been done up there has been accomplished by whacked out live persons. (The same kind you'll find walkin' down any city street in Fall River or New Bedford!)
I've been in that forest all hours of the day and night - for over 30 years. Other than deer, coyote, coydogs, small animals, and once a small black bear, nothing up there is gonna jump out and snatch you! Its all legends and rumors! Although I wouldn't want to break down out there at night and have to walk out - coyote and coydog do hunt in packs. The may be small but their loosing their fear of humans in this area.
A camping trip would be cool. it would take a little more planning tho. I would prob wanna stop by the ranger station and find out where/if we are allowed to camp over night. There is a camping area but that doesnt seem as cool as just finding a spot off the trail somewhere. Some people might get freaked out staying there all night too. Weird things supposedly happen in that forrest at night. Make sure if you are going on a night run you bring at least one good flashlight and extra batteries. A break down or getting stuck at night with no flashlight might mean you are spending the night like it or not
looks like Joe has heard the stories.... hahaahha. it never hurts to ask.. who knows, maybe you guys woulda had some stories or somethin seeing your always in there lol
