Installing a new Softop in the Cold??

Good Morning Wheelers!

I wonder if any of you know about a heated Garage or shop where I can rent by the hour in order to install my new Smittybuilt softop. I have read in other treads that it can be a PITA to install it in the colder weather and even some damage can happen because the fabric needs to spand.

Any suggestions? BTW I live in East Boston.

Cheers!

TJ...How are you making out with that? Also, since we are now into hunting season (saw alot of guys out there this past weekend), didn't know when or if you guys are heading back out there anytime soon.

X2 How is that area? I've checked it out on Google earth, looks like the dirt-bikes make use of that area a lot. Any problems with people bitchin' about wheelin' up there?

Been staying out of the State Forest lately during hunting season, don't want to be the recipient of a stray arrow or buckshot round! Good friend of mine (hunter) took a stray from another hunter last November from a 54 cal. black powder round right thru the ankle while sitting in his blind. Poor guy is still in a walking cast after multiple reconstructive surgeries. A million to one chance, and he takes a bullet instead of hitting a scratch ticket! LOL

I might be headed out there after the storm. I feel like a complete heel because I've never done anything I'd call serious off-roading. So I might give it a try out there after the storm passes. I'm assuming it's pretty easy stuff?

It's a mix of stuff. Some areas you could drive a Honda over, but there's plenty of back trails tuff enough to ruin you rig on! (or drown it! LOL) If you wheel with a light foot and a level head, you'll be fine. (That goes for anywhere you wheel) I like following old bridal trails, there very rocky but really narrow. Definitely recommend under armor for those! If your not up for scratches or loosing the occasional marker light on your rig, then I'd steer clear of those.
