Tire valve stems

Do I need to replace them with the sensor type on my 2008 wrangler?And how do I reset my warning light.Cost me 83 bucks today for one stem broke when I was checking tire preasure.

$83 is actually pretty cheap! And yes, if you replace the TPMS sensor with a regular valve stem your tire pressure light would never go away. Chrysler products TPMS lights go off after a few miles of driving after the pressures are correctly set. If that doesn't work, you may want someone to check and see if all your sensors are working. (They only run off a small battery, like a watch battery.)

If you broke the stem then why didn't you just replace the stem? NAPA hS them for around $9.00 I believe.
