Who to go to in Boston?

Hi all,

I have an 06 Wranger automatic that has good old Death Wobble, last time this happened it was at 30k miles and the stabilizer was replaced under warranty. However, now that I am at 60k miles, no longer have a warranty I am hoping for someone to refer me to a good jeep shop that won't charge me an arm and a leg to get it replaced. Also, my 4WD is no longer locking on. Any recommendations? I live in the North End, but anywhere around the city would be great. Thank you!!

J

Check the track bar(s) and it's mounts.
Steering stabilizers only mask problems.
Something else is wrong.... Good luck

could also be unit bearings or worn control arm bushings. DW can be caused by so many things and it doens't take long for it to tear apart other things either. I'm sure there are some places closer to you but if you can't find anything try calling the guys over at Elias 4WD . It may not be your cheapest option, but they'll get it done right.

Steering stabilizers = Bandaids
