Good Dealer Service Dept.

Hi All...
I live and work in the East Bay area (Bristol/Portsmouth) and am looking for a dealer in RI or SE Mass with a good service department. The service dept at the dealer I bought my JK from didn't impress me at all. I need to get the recall done and want to use that as way to begin a relationship with a good service dept.
Thanks!

Let me know if you find one...I just bought a new jeep and I want to establish a good relationship with a dealers service department. I live on the Pawtucket/Attleboro border.

I think I'll be trying Elwood jeep in east providence. I went to the dealership in Johnston before I bought my jeep and didn't like the service provided at all.

I took it to Elmwood this week. Joe was my service advisor. He seemed good. The recall work was done and as far as I can see, there are no leaks.
They usually wash it for you too. I wish they wouldn't. They do a lousy job and I hate having it half washed like it is right now.

Figured I'd necro this thread and throw out my recommendation for Newport Jeep. I've never had a better experience with a dealership. Tommy, the service manager is excellent and I've been dealing with him (and his brother before him) for almost 20 years (when they were at Barry Pontiac. The service team seems to have their act together and the do AEV mods.

The dealership is great and 4/5 of the sales managers I've gotten to know are all stand-up. Minimal BS, and nice to deal with. Most "regular guy" dealership I think can exist. Finance manager is by far the LEAST shady I've ever met and a straight shooter as well.

I've had my Jeep for a little over a half a year and they've done some mods (and helped me get parts for me to do my own.)

Kevin is the Dealer and he's a good guy and genuinely pleasant.

As with all relationships, it takes effort to work and it's important to communicate expectations and share respect. Seems like most of the sales guys are Jeepers - with a couple in the Jeep Freak territory. I'm not sure how service techs come down on the Jeep side, but they seem to have their act together enough; and again, communicate needs/wants.

So if you're in the area, I'd recommend them.
