Anyone know of a good garage with jeep knowledge?

My jeep is having a possible electrical problem (so I was told), it turns over but doesn't start. My normal mechanic can't seem to find the problem.

Sorry to say I do not. Only shop in the Danbury area I hear anything about is EVB (extreme vehicle builders) Extreme Vehicle Builders - Index Page might contact them for a recommended garage.

What are the " symptoms " that you YJ is having? Might be able to search in that Forum & get some help narrowing it down.

You know you drive a TJ when you have the parts for the mod, the right tools for the job, a BFH & still need a Sawzall to get the job done!

I'll definitely check them out. The only symptom is not starting lol. I changed the battery hoping that was it but wasn't. My mechanic is "still working on it", doesn't sound to hopeful.

But what is it doing when you attempt to start it? Does it turn over? Or do you turn the key and hear a click? If you can give some more details maybe someone on here can give you a couple of things to check before paying big money for someone to check it out.

It turns over, no unusual noises. It just keeps turning and just doesn't start.

I did a quick search in the "YJ" forum.
- Take a look through some of these and see if anything seems like you. Might help diagnose the problem.
