Morning Ken,

- Looked in a couple different forums for a shop up here in N. Stonington for myself, I have a mech @ Midas right now w/a guy who is into jeeps. Midas has been great for my other vehicles,

- Anyway, ..EVB (Danbury) is the #1 talked about for svc (excellent svc w/really knowledgeable people), Clayton offroad in Waterbury & SVE performance in New Haven also get a lot of mentions (SVE quality work, bit expensive)

You know you drive a TJ when you have the parts for the mod, the right tools for the job, a BFH & still need a Sawzall to get the job done!

Thanks brother.

Ya- I have had good luck with Midas in enfield.
Blew away everybody else's prices on work. They charged of actual time not computer time.
Anyhow, Regearing is complicated and labor intensive, not something I would let a
small time garage do. You want a rep shop
that warranties the work also

I will check into the places you mentioned

The only quote I got was from CTAXLE for $1700. That is for USA brand gears any ratio.
