I've rally crossed in Stafford quite a bit in my previous car. Sold the Subaru for the JK. Now I get goosebumps at 3mph. I'm in Trumbull.

I've heard there's more mud in ellington but haven't seen it. Soapstone mountain has a bunch of small trails that are great for weekend wheeling

I'd much rather rock climb but a little mud is good for the paint. Exfoliates it.

At least I'm not the only one around with Dune. Mine is a two door. And I have to agree with you I will never buy any other vehicle. Loving every minute of my JEEP.

Porter rd. Is one of the best points. You can go to the fire tower and access most of the fire roads though.

The road that links gulf road to 190 has a bunch of small little trails that branch off of it. Some go 2-300 yards, others go on as far as I've walked. Nothing to dedicate a day to. I just found a new one there today that I'm going to hike tomorrow and clear away some debris to wheel it.
