Lots of noise in the CT forum as of late, exciting! Everyone seems wicked interested in a club/meet ups, and maybe this will get someone to take the initiative. Let's get some opinions..
1. What type of place would you like to meet up at? The same for every meet, or different every time?
2. How often would you like to meet? Weekly, monthly..
3. Wranglers only? All jeeps? All off road vehicles? Personally, I love all off road vehicles, BUT the more open of a meet it is, the less you may learn about your vehicle specifically.
4. What area of CT works best for you?
5... I don't know. Come up with more questions, I'll add them here.
Let's get some consensus, and maybe get this thing off the ground!
Just found this Connecticut forum and I'd love to get in on this!
Unfortunately, the jeep is dead in my driveway with a minor electrical gremilin. It should be relatively easy to hunt down, just a starting issue, and hopefully I'll be able to make it.
I'd also be willing to lend a hand on some trail work in the future, I live in Northern CT

My wife and son are baking cup cakes for tomorrow and the house smells delicious! I hope everyone brings their appetite, it sounds like there will be a lot of food!
Cup Cakes are done! The wife tried to get fancy and make them look like a Jeep! Half with dirt and half without. I think she is really getting into this Jeep thing!
Wild looking cupcakes! I'm working on my chicken marinade and cooking taters for potato salad. My wife will be making pasta salad tomorrow since jyj is having surgery.
Hi guys, first of all I thank u for your support and to give u and up date that I'm doing ok, after a week or so, time will tell. If u guys need another pop up, u can borrow one from me, Danni can pick it up if she wants to.
Glad to hear you're doing okay!
I actually can't pick it up unless I do it at 7:15 am cause I'm going to Rocky Neck from work not home. I am bringing our easy up so hopefully we'll be okay
Hey all....had a great time at the cookout on Saturday, and hope that everyone else that attended did as well. Let's do that again sooner than later. JYJ...hope you are well on the way to a complete recovery. See you all next month...date and time for next meeting is TBD at this point...stay tuned!!
Hi all: I don't get on the interweb too often but I had to say how much we enjoyed meeting everyone at Rocky Neck. Great people and cool Jeeps. Those Wrangler cupcakes tasted as good as they looked.
I don't have a lot of free time but would like to help clear trails as well, so keep me in the loop.
Awesome time this past Saturday. Even though I was a bit on the late side. We'll all have to get together again soon. A few of us were talking this past Saturday and we need to start getting dates ready for the month of July.
So lets get our availabilities out there so we can set up what the location and time.

Most likely the kilt around the same time as usual 4pm if I remember correctly, been a few meetings since I've last been able to make it (thank you work!).
Paul or anyone else please correct me if I'm wrong!
O.k. so I'm waiting for login info which I should have later tonight, then I'll be sending minutes to what addresses I have. Two questions while we wait, do we want another outdoor event or a restaurant, and second I was looking into a park in Vernon is that too far for anyone
Vernon works for me. If you are looking for a restaurant there is the Wood-N-Tap right off 84 or even Angellino's both easy access and have small separate party type rooms.
The park's name I am unsure of it's by the reservoir I'm going to check it out this weekend. I will get back to everyone once I know what the hours are and if it's even worth trying.
