Nope, thats not what I asked for. No big deal, I dont NEED the Jeep and I have other dealers Im speaking to also.
Its in fact now what you asked for, and if they know youll walk you have the power.

If you've done your research (sites like Edmunds, etc) you should have a good idea of what is reasonable to pay. Lots (but not all) dealers will gladly give you a price via email. Some will use the old tricks to try to get you in the showroom. Blah, blah, skip those guys.
When I bought mine, it was a basic 2-dr sport, AC and Auto the only options. Easy to find as a prebuilt, main thing that would sway me to one dealer over another was color (and I got the deep red and I'm very happy).
Get email prices from one dealer and fire them to another. I set a range of dealers pretty far between eastern CT all the way up to Boston. I guess it depends on where you live as to how many quotes you'll get. I actually had a price $300 cheaper then what I paid but it was black and I didn't want black.
Once you get some prices in hand, send them out to the next guy (heh, preferably a local guy). Most will be more than happy to match.
Thanks for the replies guys, check out what I received via email this am. Seems too good to be true/just trying to get me in the dealership. I'm looking to buy but the below would be too good to pass up on?
"Our monthly special on that vehciel right now is $129 a month for lease and you can purchase it for $32,840. When can you make it by to check it out?"
$129 a month seems kinda low to me, but I have no experience with leasing (I drive 25k a year avg, so it never worked for me).
I'd press for more pricing details. Ask for a breakdown of all charges. Be annoying as this is usually a good chunk of cash for most ppl (I mean auto purchases in general).
If they're straightforward, they should be able to give a breakdown. At very least an otd price. If they keep pushing you to come in, then I'd consider looking elsewhere. Unless haggling in person is fun for you, then have at it. My last 2 vehicles (my jeep and my wife's 2011 civic) I had the prices in hand when I walked in the door. I basically went in and filled out the paperwork.
