Ok..I think the smart thing for me is to back out also..I pulled my back out a couple of weeks ago and well it's just getting worse..I know bouncing around in a jeep on the trail is as good as a chiropractor.. but I'm sure my wife would have a different opinion.. I'm pulling out.. sorry.. Be safe out there.. whoever is left...

Pics

Here are some pics from the weekend.
Couple notes:
Ice causes damage to fog lights! and front plastic fenders!
Even if breather hoses are extended or covered, water can still come in through axle seals.

Great time! lots of new pinstripes on the doors!

Just got back from Wharton atco raceway area (on the quad) figured we would see more but only found a bronco and blazer so decided not to go out still 2wd anyway... Just got my bender mounted and started some rear aluminum fender flares. Looking to bend some stuff and break this thing in if anybody's interested.

That gray diff fluid needs to be completely removed from diff.
I routinely used an air powered sprayer with kerosene, cover removed.
Then dried with hair dryer, and reflled wit new oil.
Simply draining and refilling leaves gunk in the bearings.

If you want the axle to last, clean it real good.

St. Patrick's Weekend

Anyone going this Sunday? There is another thread with few jeeps going. Last year was fun. Lets go again this year.
