my experience with Royal Car Wash on rt23

I'm ticked I just drove up 23 to get a quick wash. Been here after 'froadin like 4 times. They do an average job.

Today I'm told they won't put it through because it's "too dirty". I'm then told I can use the power washer in the self serve bay for 5 bucks to knock the excess off.

Here's the kicker. THEY spray the car down before it hits the machine. I really believe they wanted my 5 extra dollars. It wasn't crowded. No reason for them to make me do it. I have watched them spray it down and knock all the stuff off before. Why not today? I have brought it there dirtier.

Either someone open a good car wash in Little Falls or you can donate to my power washer trust fund.

Thanks for reading my rant.

My buddy's father owns the car wash in berkley heights. He has never given us a problem when we brought our muddy trucks through in the past.

Why are you washing it? Jeeps should be dirty.

My grandfather owned a car wash and I use to have to scoop all the mud out of the pit into wheelbarrow.

I usually power wash my jeep after wheeling, then hit car wash for the real clean up. Most those guys don't want all that mud. They have to clean all that up afterwards. But I don't like that palace to start out with.

Hate to disagree but I disagree. I go there all the time and use the self service bays and still feel bad about the amount of mud I leave in there. If you show up with your jeep dipped on shit then.....

In fact I've actually had a couple of the guys come out from the wash complement my jeep and then proceed to try to buff some of the scratches out for free
