Need a South Jersey mechanic or member for a tranny help asap

My buddys YJ with a BA 5/10 is stuck in 1st. I took the shifter out and tried my best to get the 3/4 rod slid back with no luck. A local tranny shop (run by a real jerk) wants a $500 deposit before he even touches it. Needless to say he isnt getting the job.

If anyone on here is framiliar with the BA5/10 and is willing to help out you will be generously compensate with cash, food, and beer. Also, if anyone on here knows of a good south jersey jeep shop please let me know. I need to get his jeep back on the road ASAP.

Thanks in advance,
Joe

You could try Camper Bob's in Hainesport. They are a specialty 4x4 shop.

Goto Miles Auto Service in Turnersville they do Jeep work, I just got my bumper/lights installed along with tires rotated and tune-up for almost pennies literally. Solid and quality work.
