New guy in the area wharton

Im living in waterford (about 5m from quaker bridge road) yesterday i bit the bullet i got my self a birthday present
2012 dozer rubicon 6 speed my first ever jeep! let alone truck
ive been big into neons (yes dodge neons lol) have had quite a few built them raced em and was just getting tired of it breaking down the one in the pic is my 95 acr neon rough shape rust becoming a problem will be getting sold soon

anywho onto the vids and pics today i took the rubicon down quaker bridge and "broke it in" just getting a feel for the truck off road
here we go pics

friend just showed up to go out adventuring with me

206 wishing i could get off road and itsd only like a 5minute drive lol

ill pass on this route no recovery stuff yet lol

heres some vids again nothing crazy as you can tell im very excited lol



deepest one all day lol


working on last vid nothing special so just wanted to introduce myself! names don but everyones calls me fuzzy lol

Dude where ever you went give me directions i go down to the pine barrons and its mostly clay....and clay is a bitch i miss mud

ill check it was down quaker bridge road a bit that might of been devious mount road the only thing that killed me was the trees schreeching on my brand new jeep lol going down almost ever trail

Ahahahaha i know the feeling man you should come wheelin memorial day weekend in manchester me and about 2 other jeeps and 2 big ass trucks will be there pm me for more info

i would be but having a party at my house will be way to drunk/hungover to move let alone enjoy wheeling lol have fun get pics i need to come out soon since i really dont know any trails aside from super easy ones and i am SURE i could use any advice on a trail from a more seasoned driver

side note winch showed up today and some recovery gear pics when i get home install mabe this weekend couple beers and some jeep work before the party

I was out this last weekend and it wasnt nearly as muddy as I was hoping in some areas, but there was still enough to get a few of us stuck.

Had to use the winch once to get me out when I thought I broke something bad (like an axle) didnt wanna try and drive it out. Turns out it was the front sway bar/disco.

yeah i figured if i didnt take it right into the woods time would only make me "man i dont wanna mess this up" but i figure jeep made them to offroad so its the same as me buying a porche and racing on a track lol

congrats, i just bought my 1st jeep as well. a 97tj. im lovin it!!! lookin forward to an overnight trip or 2 this summer in wharton. im not real familiar w/the area yet, but the few roads/trails ive been down have been fun. my wife is usually behind me in her ranger (up on 33s) look forward to meetin some of u on the trails!!! have fun w/ur new jeep.

should have my jeep back soon from dealer definitely gonna set up a run probably next weekend i would love to get some pointers and have some fun looking forward to meeting all you guys and gals

ill have my winch on by then (been sitting in my living room since before i got stuck) but bumper took a while to arrive i have straps tree saver snatch block d links and ill end up buying anything else hijack on the list lol few other things figure "cant have enough shit to get you unstuck" and ill be walking through whatever im about to drive through gotta say for my first time being stuck it was STUCK

no hi jack here, its on my list. i have winch, snatch block, chains, straps, metal slings, & nylon slings. need 2 get a bumper & winch for the mrs. shes been askin for a while. i rarely go anywhere alone, shes usually w/me so at least i can use her truck as anchor point if needed lol
