I just ripped out all my interior carpeting.... It was kinda soaked and starting to smell... By soaked I mean I was wringing water out of it... I guess it's time for rhino liner. Anyone rhino line their jk yet? I'm thinking Hammerstein may have his jk looked pretty built...And yes I know there Are a bajillion threads on it.

Gonna be a project that's for sure.
My bad, gixxer is Jim. I also want to rip my carpet out. There is a liner I saw in a 4x4 show that is good because it shields road heat. Lizard Skin? How do you hide and water proof the wiring?

Haha ultra tech yeah I sell it. It's cool stuff but they only sell it for industrial applications and it comes off from abrasion so it wouldn't work for your interior.... It's also $500 a quart...

Thanks! What did you use for the liner? Roll on or spray? I'm leaning towards a roll on/paint on because I'd probably lose focus and spray my dashboard or something. 😜

ANd Kyle, is looks like you won't be too far from me.
Can you go on the beach during the summer season? Or only in the off season? I've been itchin to do some beach fishing but didn't think there was anywhere I could take my jeep in NJ on the beach.

Pretty sure you can go all year long. The fishing isn't as good in the summer, but I think you are allowed on year-round so long as there's a pole in the water. You can check on their website....

During the Summer you can go just about anywhere, except the swimming areas, which are marked with signs.
After the Summer season you can go anywhere.

I finally washed my Jeep. I didn't care about the mud and dirt from Sunday, but the salt from Island Beach yesterday had to go.

Underneath the dirt is a lot of new forest pinstriping! I used to worry about the scratches on my Jeep when I bought it, now they match the rest of the Jeep! I can't wait to make more pinstripes!

Dirt is fine. It's the sand and salt that r killer.

That it is. But even if you don't drive on the beach, you can't avoid the salt.

Instead of actually teaching people how to drive in winter conditions, we just over salt the roads. 1in of snow? Well, we need one inch of salt!

So, I'll try to wash the salt off it, and when it rots I'll just get another one.
