Ever try Island Beach State Park? There are 2 kayak launch spots on the Barnegat Bay side that I know of.

I am up in Central Jersey and my fiance and I usually are in the Raritan or side canals from there every other week at least now that the weather is nicer. I am trying to find some new places as well that we can combine the two activities.

I'm looking too. I just put the roof rack on the TJ just for this purpose. Hopefully will have a kayak within the next month. I'm in 08809 - if you find a place let me know!

Wish you weren't so far East...kayaking not been too good here....we are over 7" behind on rain...actually saw a VERY small farm pond today that is being filled in with dirt because it has no water and grass is growing in it.
