alright im going to be that guy, ive had my jeep for about a year and a half and i have right now an 05 wrangler sport unlimited with 35 inch tires and a 6 inch rough country lift kit. i am getting a brand new inline 6 4.0 liter engine installed in it after i come home from afghanistan in 2 months. the problem is i dont know a whole lot about jeeps sadly. i am still running the stock axles and gears and i dont think that is a great idea because i dont think the stock axles and gears were really designed to be pushin 35's. so what gears should i be using and what axles. i saw that the Dana axles costed 5 g's for the front and rear ones and i dont have that kind of money to burn right now. i never had any problems muddin or anything like that and he seems to be running fine. last year i had an AeroTurbine exhaust installed in him and it sounds badass. i also installed mounts on my front bumper to hole my highlift jack and got the swing away tire carrier for the 35 inch spare on the back. any hel pwould be much appreciated. thanks

Ski, your question would be better answered in a new thread in the TJ section on the homepage. Alot of folks wont see it here. If you need help, pm me and I will find a link to the correct area. Just trying to help.

My favorite place within 2 hours of central jersey is Rausch Creek Off-Road Park in Tremont, PA. Just Google Rausch Creek.

What trails do you run? I only have a 2" lift, 32s, and no lockers. I run greens and blues.

I just locked my front end, and always go solo, so I run whatever the people I tag along with run.

I understand RC is setting up a blue trail guided ride in Feb. Don't know the exact date. Might be a good way for me to get introduced to blues. Have to get a skid plate for my evap canister first.
