South Jersey newbie already have a story

What's going on guys and gals? Already posted in the new member thread so if you already read the following story sorry but I figured I'd put it up in the local section.

So I am new to the forum and new to owning a Jeep, I always loved them just never found a good deal on one till recently when I bought a friends who was moving. Last week I became the proud owner of a 1999 6 cyl 5 spd. 4 inch lift 32's and some other off road goodies.

Now comes the fun part...

So as I said I bought the TJ last week well on this Saturday after having the jeep for all of about 6 days I found myself in the middle of a 5 car pile up . Basically I was the second car from the front in the line of 5 cars. The first three of us were at a dead stop sitting in traffic when the fifth car(a yukon denali) decided he wasn't stopping I guess and just plowed into the back of the last car driving us all into each other. Needless to say it was not a good time hah. After assessing all of the damage every car was totaled except for my jeep . I did have to put the TJ into 4 wheel so that I could drive off of VW that was behind/under me but everything was good to go for the most part other then some scrapes and a dented gas tank brace. Car that I hit in front of me was completely mangled in the back end thanks to my Steel bumper/winch but my winch was even totally ok. It was actually kind of funny to watch all of the emergency people continue to look at my Jeep in amazement as if it wasn't in the accident at all haha. So luckily as everyone else was being loaded onto flat beds I was able to drive myself away with only minor bruises and scrapes thanks to my good ol' Jeep.

I am looking forward to getting to know a bunch of you and I am always down for meets and things. Kinda new to actually driving and 4 wheeling but I always loved being a passenger so I have some knowledge of whats what but definitely want to get more experience so let me know guys!

Ouch

You should find a similar Jeep and start looking underneath for bent suspension parts.

You may have hidden damage and be entitled to some insurance paid repairs.

I am absolutely going to be giving it a full once over I am just still a bit sore to be rolling around underneath the Jeep at the moment hah. Plus I have to wait for a police report which should be done by Friday so that I can go forward with my claim but insurance will absolutely be used in this case hah.
