Hey! im in Glassboro. Have gone up to rausch creek and was amazing. Did the 101 course and it was well worth it especially being a total noob! I also did a ride in the pine barons with the "grass roots jeep club" a few months back and had a great time. Im still a noob so im not the right person to go ridding with unless we could get a "pro" would love to make it up to rausch again!

Well to start with seeing as those are your first and second posts, welcome to the forums. I tend to lurk and not talk much, though lately I am a bit more. If you want to set something up Sunday I could be down. There is a decent spot by Atco Raceway I go to and there is some good spots up in Shamong I do. Nothing too hard. I have a Memorial Service at 130, but would be down for later after noon. (or possibly real early morning, but prefer later).

Could anyone tell me if there is legal o ff road places in stokes state forest... even if it the old dirt roads? If so, do you need a permit or to check in at a ranger station. Just looking for a nice legal trail ride for a stock jku...
Thanks

Proxy..np. not sure when we are going..best to do is pm me a contact# and I can call before hand...
Mark..not sure about stokes..I know Wharton is as well as the pit I believe Winslow wildlife reserve is as well..I basically look for posted signs...but it never hurts to check in at the ranger station..if you have one of them there new fangled devices (GPS) and the road shows up then I'd believe it's a public road..

You can definitely make it through wharton. Not sure about the others. I drove my JKU around wharton several times when it was stock and only hit one or two trouble spots and that's because I put myself there.

Oops, I posted on the wrong thread... I was trying to post on the Sparta thread. I would love to try Wharton but it's about a 2 1/2 hour ride for me to get there... I was looking for something close to home so I could get out for a few hours spur of the moment. Thanks for the replies.

I'm heading to Wharton right now. Hopefully it's not raining still because my roof is off. Oh well. I have a map of Wharton. Any dotted roads are driveable
