The 4x4 Place?

I'm looking to costumize my rig. 35 inch tires, Lift and so forth. Thinking about getting the work done at The 4X4 Place at Lake Hopatcong NJ. Has anyone done any work to their rig at this place? If so how was your experience with them and do you recommend them. Your feedback would be greatly appreciate it. I live in North Jersey area and would like to know before I take the long drive up there.
Thanks

I would check out OK4WD... I've done a good bit of research and they seem to be very good from everything I could find.

If you are closer to Toms River check out Globex Performance. Never heard anything negative about them.

Thanks. Looks like Andrew Sr. tried to pull a fast one on me, he was trying to charge me $1200 per axle. I took the deposit back and I dont think I'll be coming back.

I know a guy that recently had work done at the 'The 4x4 Place'. He was quoted one price and when he got the final bill it was 'thousands' more than the estimate. Additionally the work completed was very poorly done.

I think he's going to the Better Business Bureau.

I wouldn't let them touch my truck!!!

4x4 place is a joke - these guys are borderline criminals with their pricing. Do your research and perform the work yourself - you will learn your rig and have a sense of accomplishment you won't believe. Not to mention the skills to repair out on the trails. Cheers

Emptypockets11, where do you recommend learning these skills on our own. Putting in a lift is a lot of work.
