Is it legal to take your jeep doors off in the state of Maryland?

Since 2003, we've taken our doors off to old 99 wrang.. with one stipulation.. Just make sure you have all the correct mirror placements.. and wear your seatbelt.. Now that we have a 08 wrangle.. we are planing to do the same thing.. Mirrors relocated, full metal doors off and soft doors in the rear. (just in case of rain)
