looking at the trail ratings they have, I know that I will definitely be fine with 1 and 2. Will also be fine with 3 and 4. My concern will be trails 5 thru 7. says "Intermediate to advanced intermediate, 33" or larger agressive tires, locker(s) very beneficial"

I have a stock 2011 rubi. Do you think I will be fine with those trails or should I just stay with 4 and down?

Sorry for questions but is there any age limit? I see it just says licensed driver. It would be a trip with 2 of my friends tagging along who are also 17 like myself. My dad wouldn't be able to come.

Well since we've had lots of rain im sure the 3 and 4 trails are more like 5 thru 7 so I would say it should make for a fun time on the lower number trails and when I was there in the spring I did see alot of stock jeeps and pickups.

I will do and how do you reserve what trails you want to go on? I just paid using the paypal option and the other registration form you mail in lets you sign up for trails already.

Well im sure cause of all the rain we had some easy trails may be harder and you may have to wait till the day of the event to pick your trail

We had a great time at the big dogs event this weekend. Ill have to post up the pics that I got when I get home. There was a video of me doing the Bunny Whole. Ill post that up too. We need some more people to become regulars so we can make this into a club. I was advocating it a while back in this thread but it never got off the ground. Looks like interest is peaking again.

Sorry I didn't know you came down and I don't do fb, we got down friday afternoon and left Sunday afternoon. We had a good time except for it being a little chilly at night. We are planning a day trip to rc sometime in december maybe we can get some people to tag along

yeah, Saturday was pretty boring. Sunday was more fun when we stepped up to 5-6 rated trails.

There is a trail ride/ rock crawl event thing going on in Hagerstown this saturday. Only 10$ to get in and its being run by vater motorsports. Supposed to be pretty bad ass. You should come check it out.

Yeah, our guide seemed kinda at times too. He seemed to like getting out and showing us the "hardcore" trails that we "couldnt" run rather then taking us wheeling. I dunno bout everyone else, but I have always heard that big dogs is for the hardcore, beat on your shit and drive it like you stole it (or in my case, own it) kind of place. Didnt really impress me all that much. Im sure it has the potential, but they need to re think their guides. I was there to wheel, not to watch.

In that same respect, we did have stockers with us that probably wouldnt have done so good on the hard trails but (like on bunnyhole) there are bypasses on most trails and we could have spotted most people through an easy line. I've seen stock XJ's get through blacks at RC because you spot them down an easy path when fully locked and loaded rigs are running a path right beside them thats beating their shit up.

Video was kinda cool. Never seen my rig from that perspective. But I wish Lucas would have gotten some better footage. Guess beggers cant be choosers though.
