Anyone in the Baltimore Area have a JKU on 37s I can check out? I am completely torn between 35s and 37s and I really want to see a JKU on 37s before I pull the trigger on either.

Thanks,

-Pierce

Pretty cool so many new people jumping into the Jeep thing...at least getting started with it. Don't forget, no matter how stock you ride, its still quite a capable vehicle the Jeep. Hope to see you all around. And don't forget to check out the MD group Element - although there are plenty of friends on it from outside the state too!

Finally remembered to check-in now that my Jeep was delivered! Having a great time with the new addition here in the Laurel/Columbia area, and commuting to B'more!

Good to see more female Jeepers around Balt/Harco. Seems like a rarity these days.

I'm just south of Baltimore but up for a Jeep meet a greet anytime there if more than five Jeeps. Thinking a Jeep flash mob greet at a Sonic or Dairy Queen somewhere and then rally at a favorite offroad store for a meet would be a fun afternoon. Then get the group to do more around the area and start exploring trail options later.

Hey Sandman, Hammer and I both are new 10A owners. You're going to love it.

BadDog, need to check your new light setup. I'll show off the dealer paint work that they are redo'ing this week. Weekends are better since workdays disappear quick. I put the MOPAR red lettering rubi tire cover (font like in the tach) on her back wheel, just as a treat to her for the time away at the body shop.

Another week and the soft top should be going on, hoping the pollen would slow down a bit too by then so the black interior doesn't turn yellow yet this year. :-) let me know and will try to get the word out. Tate Jeep has an associated off road place have anywhere else local as a preferred parts source? Tate's place didn't have much in stock last time I was there so open to suggestions...?

I am located in Hampstead. I spoke with the sales manager at the dealership where I bought my 10A and we could meet there. Then head up the road a couple miles to a pizza place for lunch. The dealership is located in Mount Airy. They usually have 25-30 Wranglers in stock. Their parts dept is open on Saturdays. They don't stock a lot of wrangler parts but have some. We could meet up at 11:00am one Saturday. The dealer has a Facebook page and said it would be a great photo op. Just an idea for everyone to think about. The dealer is located right off Rte 70 which is about half hour drive off rte 695. I am located forty-five minutes away myself. Let me know your thoughts. Depending on the size of the group, I could call the pizza place and see if we can get a discount / reservation.

I'm up for a Jeep meet and greet anywhere and anytime in MD. I haven't found too many off road shops in MD so far.

Here's the ones I know of that we have either shopped with, worked for, or have wheeled with the owners over the last 17 years.

Hope this helps.

4X4 Shops:
Adrenaline Offroad, Burtonsville (Laurel), Md: Jeff Jurgrau, owner. Great guy, amazing prices, installs available, mild to wild. We've known Jeff for about 10 years. Always supports the local clubs with prizes for holiday parties, special events, etc. Plus, he's a Jeeper and competes in the RCrocs events and is a life-long Big Dogs sponsor.
Welcome to Adrenaline Off Road LLC.

Adventurous 4x4 & Speed, Hagerstown, Md: Randy Wood, owner, Wayne Kendel, co-owner. I haven't had the opportunity to purchase from Randy, but we have wheeled with him. Amazing guy, always helped out at any large event we put on. From Wayne: "The Adventurous 4x4 website is going to be updated over the next few months and will have over 1000 products added to the site."
Adventurous 4x4 & SPEED

Appalachian Offroad, Westminster, Md: Mike Bosley, owner. Again, great guy, does amazing custom work with whatever you bring him: cages, axles, motor/tranny/t-case swap, buggy builds. They do it all and are extremely reasonable.
Appalachian Off Road -

DelMarVa Offroad, Salisbury, Md: Mike Ferrari, owner. Sounds like a broken record, but Mike will do whatever he can to help you out. From custom CNC machining to simple gear installs, as well as nearly any product you can find in a catalogue, DOR can get it for you as well as install it.
Delmarva Offroad

Mid-Atlantic 4x4 and Speed, Glen Burnie, Md Very over-priced, cannot recommend them as I've seen lots of shoddy lift installs from that place. If you need to buy hard parts, (U-bolts, Hubs, etc), they may have them in stock. I'd have to say they are a 'speed' shop first that sells some 4x4 parts.
Mid Atlantic 4x4 & Speed 410-766-2727 MID4x4.com

Trick Trucks Lots of these places around. Used to get my hard parts from the one in Edgewater since a buddy was a manager there. Fairly good selection on tires and wheels, used to have blems and tire deals every once in a while. Haven't been to one since the late 90's, so I can't comment on any current status of the business.
Trick Trucks :: Truck Accessories, Equipment, Parts, Caps

Specific shops:
Perry Hall Power Equipment, Baltimore, Md Used them to cut down some axles tubes and rebuild a driveshaft. Good work, pricey, and it takes a little while to get stuff back. Good work though.
(410) 391-2300

A1 Driveshafts, Baltimore and Washington, D.C. If you broke a driveshaft, need one lengthened, shortened or rebalanced, they'll do it. Great stuff. Annapolis Auto Parts delivers to their shop, so a trip to A1 isn't always necessary.
A-1 Drive Shaft - Driveshafts * Front Wheel Drive Axles * Rack & Pinions

Napa Auto parts Lots around. We get our Warn locking hubs there. Very cheap.

Mike Bosley at Appalachian Offroad did my 4.10 gears upgrade. Great job at a great price. I definitely recommend his shop!
