Might check out Maryland Creepers or Baltimore 4 Wheelers. If I ever get any free time, I want to look them up, but haven't had the chance. I think the Creepers meet in the Annapolis vicinity and other places. 4 Wheelers meet at Lutherville Fire Station. Not "Jeep" clubs, per se, but should be a good starting point. There's also PA Jeeps up in York, PA.

First off, welcome to the Maryland forum.

Secondly to answer your question, there are several clubs in your area Melissa. There are many other smaller 'grassroots' type clubs, usually a collection of friends who go wheeling/ have install parties/ etc. A google search may find some closer to you. There are many in Maryland each with their own niche. Try them all out and see who fits best for you.

Well, the shaft itself. Detroit lockers, the Dana 35, and Swampers don't mix . . .

I don't blame you.

But whatever I upgrade, I tend to break. Just wasted a 5.38 ring-and-pinion and alloy shafts in the D44. At what point do I just suck it up and throw 1 ton's under it.

u joints on the jeep went bad, axel seals need to be replaced.. dropped the jeep off to get those things fixed.. find more problems.. whoever had the jeep befor me broke bolts off to hold the manifold onto the motor, so had to go to JEEP dealer and order new bolts and now they need to be tapped and dyed.. THEN.. find out valve cover gasket and valve cover is cracked and spreying oil..

soooo HIGH FIVE! lol

I was in the same boat as you about a year ago. Took my jeep in to get a new exhaust, and make a long story short, they found so many problems I didn't get my jeep back for almost 7 months.
But good luck on getting your jeep fixed.
