Hey guys! I'm in Kutztown! I have a JKU'12 completely stock. I've taken it off road 2 times now and sometimes the '12 stock out shines the mod ones! I was out this weekend and was practically the only one who didn't get stuck!
I just joined Blue Mountain Jeep Alliance... Can't wait for the next trip! Is there anyone going soon??
Misty
Here's pic from Sat... My son is hanging out of the door... My jeep is actually green....

Hello Misty I also belong to BMJA, you will have to come to some of the meeting we meet at Outten county Chrysler the 1st Thursday of each month about 7 Oclock most of us get there about 6:30 and just BS till it starts. Do you know there is a camp out and trails this weekend at Rousch Creek, I wont make this one , it's Daytona race weekend.
I'm not to far from you I live 3 miles from Cabela's in Hamburg. Maybe a group of us can get together some weekend and do a little wheeling.
Well have fun ////////////// Bob

New to this forum

Looking to buy my first Wrangler (or possibly CJ7). Have about 3500 to spend. If you guys see anything, please let me know.

My dad used to be a Jeep dealer in Reading back in the day. He got out of it all when the "downsized" vehicles were released. I remember growing up around Renegades, Golden Eagles, Laredos, as well as real Cherokees, Wagoneers and J-10's, even a few Commandos.

I am picking up my 1994 today ... I can't wait. Now I just need to find some 31" tires to replace the bald tiny 215 series tires on there now.

Is anyone going to the Topless for TaTa's event on Aug 4th @RC? I have a '12 JKU and I'm taking off the side steps in the am. I'm selling them for $100. Any takers?

I am brand new to driving a Jeep (2012 Orange Crush JK Stock) and never been off road. I attended my first meeting a few weeks ago and my first event with BMJA this past weekend and I would highly recommend it. I was a little concerned that since I have no clue what to expect but this group was one of the most friendly groups I have ever met. They answered questions, helped me out with suggestions, guided me through the "green" (some blueish) trails and showed me what a fantastic time one can have on the trails. Being a member so far is well worth my time. I hope to meet many other new members soon. Joe B from Blandon (between Reading and Kutztown)

I was going to try and get there but I had a 5K Mud Run in Shawnee on Saturday. It looks like they had a lot of fun. RC is awesome. And yes the green is they way to go for someone who is new. Be careful, some of the green is turning to blue due to usage. We took a blue one and had to switch to green because it was out of my comfort level. Still had fun!! Hopefully I can make it to the next one.

Glad I found this thread, I think I am going to join BMJA, it's relatively close (I'm outside of Green Lane Park) and looks like it will be a great learning experience, I definitely need it!

Putting this out because I'm having a hard time thru normal channels ....
I am in need of full doors, or soft uppers (rounded) for my 94 YJ, so I can use my newly acquired hard top.
If anybody knows of a reasonable deal, let me know please.
