Here is what we got, there will be a staging area of sorts in the parking lot where forum members can at least meet up before and after going into the festival. It would be nice if the forum would provide us with a banner to hang...HINT HINT.

Im actually going down Saturday for trail guide training and some trail maintenance. Sure wish my Jeep was done.

Just took Friday off so I can take my time driving to Bantam!

Was talking with the folks there and found out a couple of things I wanted to pass on:

1. Pre registration ENDS ON MAY 18. This is the last day to register as well as make changes to existing registrations on our website. That's less than 2 weeks folks. Time to sign up now.

2. If you enjoy baseball, you can attend a Jeep themed night with the Butler BlueSox! The Festival will be sponsoring Fireworks Night on June 14 with between inning Jeep activities. The Blue Sox will be offering Jeep Festival attendees a special "Buy One, Get One" ticket offer! This Buy One, Get One offer will be accepted at the ticket window by showing your Festival wristband or volunteer t-shirt.

3. Also, check out some of the vendors that have already signed up to join the Festival! Vendors | Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival

This year's festival looks to be fantastic!

See you all there!

Is this a wrangler only type event or for all Jeeps? SIL has a WK2, GC he wants to bring.

So, I registered for the ride around the lake and received my packet with one wristband. Does this mean that I have to go by myself? I saw in the information contained within the packet that all vehicle occupants over a certain age require a wristband? That seems stupid. If anybody knows for sure, let me know.

I was confused about that a bit also. especially for the Great Pig Out and Father's Day Breakfast. I wasn't sure if I had to purchase a ticket for myself as well as my daughter, or as a jeep participant, was I covered and I only needed one for her.

Spoke with a very friendly woman there, got everything straightened out. rather enjoyable communication actually. answered all of my questions and made sure my registration was correct. Got my packet last night and the receipt looks exactly right.

Registered in March. But, I got rear ended on my motorcycle and nearly severed my leg. Soo, sadly I can not drive my Jeep or attend the festival. If anyone can figure out how to transfer my registration you are welcome to have it. I purchased the participant package and Moraine Trail Ride for June 14th at 9:30

Yea, I just get to sit on my porch and stare at my Jeep while I have a new JCR front bumper sitting in my dining room.
I contacted the festival people and they said I could transfer my registration to someone else. Just need a name and email. So, if you or anyone you know would like to attend just ask.

Count me in for this. . Went last year and had a blast. We met some great folks at our camp site in "secluded glen" down by the lake. We've been Facebook friends since and will all be meeting there again. me, wifey,11yr old daughter, plus some friends with their two (boy 4 and girl 7).they're not jeep owners yet, but this should change that. Not rowdy but cold brews with campfires and lots of laughs. Live 45min away and will be coming up Fri morning. All are welcome to come visit us.

Phone app keeps crashing, but hopefully the pics come through. From last year. Look for this jeep if you come down to secluded glen.

So there is a call to start a "live" picture thread once we are at Bantam. Keep an eye out for it and post away!

That is what I said last year until I got there and saw all the stock jeeps that were participating.

this ^^^... when you see it, you'll wish you were there to ride. And I promise you will say, "next year well come and camp". Besides the invasion is a "once you've seen it" type of thing.

That^^^^... Is why I started the live picture thread in the general discussion forum so people will hopefully understand why I get SO hyped up about the event.

Unreal awesome time.

I can't tell you how it feels to be driving down and all the sudden you are in a train of a dozen other jeeps on the thru way - all strangers - all jeepers - all smiling. And you did not even get to your destination yet!

I would love to do some rides but first and foremost our Jeep hasn't come in yet. Any day now. If not will be going in our Grand Cherokee. I know others take their kids for the weekend but my wife would never do that. Sounds fun being their the whole weekend but not my wife's thing.

I am south of you guys in PA, so I was wondering about the laws about doors...

I NY I can go doorless no problem, can I do the same in PA?

When I get to bantam I was thinking of putting my door in my hotel, will the police give me a problem?

Thanks!

I live in PA and drive without doors all the time. You must have mirrors.

I've only heard of one township in PA that will ticket for no doors and it's Upper Allen Township in Mechanicsburg in Cumberland. They are blatantly wrong for doing so and they know it but they don't care. Too bad because other than that they are a great group of cops.
