Lightbulb Expedition

Im looking for information. I want to take my Jeep my girl and my dog and prolly a few guns and disappear into the woods for a long weekend. Can anyone recomend somewhere within an 8 hour drive of Philadelphia? I dont want a terrain park or camp site. I want woods and maybe some water and noone else for miles. anyone know anything about the Appalachian trails?

Are you planning a nice quiet ride home after with just you and your dog?

Prolly not, but it all depends on her attitude during the trip. lol Im prety sure the dog would be on her side anyway.

We both like camping and guns and wheelin and nature. I've always wanted to drop off the face of the earth for a week or so, and now that I have a Jeep, I think the time has come to do it. u know a lil fishing, build a fire, no neighbors in the next camp site etc...

I can recommend an area but i dont know all the rules of the area so your gonna have to contact grounds keepers or whoever. Head out to clearfield county pa and into black moshanna state forest. hunting is a yes, camping and wheeling im not sure. also while there stop at dennys beer barrel pub for a 3 pound burger.
