Help heater problems in pa

have gone over the vac lines in the heater control unit (black and green tubes) and they are fine. the heater core is flowing,(both hoses are hot) heater core housing is hot but I'm only getting luke warm air out of the defrost and heater.What else could it be? any tips tricks of the trade ANYTHING whats so ever? need help bad trying to keep the better half happy
