I'm fairly new to the jeep scene and have been looking to get out trailing for the first time. Are the trails here too rough for a first timer? I have 31s and a 4" lc.
Not at all. My TJ is stock except for the Rubi tires. I can usually plow through and we always have Jim who is coming to pull us out with his "wench". :thumb:
Be aware of where your air intake is, on the JK they are up under the front right of the hood. some older models they are down lower. If you submerge this or throw too much water in it your going to ruin you engine (easy to avoid if you drive smart) faster through puddles isn;t always better for this reason.
There are go-arounds on most of the big holes if you need or want to use them.
If you have the itch and feel the need to do at least one mod i would highly recommend a CB~$100 and 1.5 hours said and done. makes outings so much easier
Hey guys, didn't know there was another thread for the same run. I was checking in on the NJ thread. I'm pretty sure there's a few people there planning to go. They were suggesting 1030 because of st party's day but if 930 is the group decision, I'm in. I'm 80% sure I'll be able to make this. Hope to see you guys there!
